What do you need from your monitor?
Video & HDR
You use your monitor for films, editing or HDR. We check supported picture modes and the signal path. HDR10 depends on the model; an ICC profile alone does not describe every video or HDR playback path.
Gaming & everyday use
You want natural colours and useful SDR settings. We check HDR, variable refresh rate and gaming modes by arrangement. Calibration does not increase frame rate or reduce response time.

A suitable calibration depends on your monitor and how it receives its signal. Tell us your operating system, graphics connection and applications as well. We agree the target colour space, brightness and white point for your intended use.

From €150 including 19% German VAT plus outward and return shipping: lab calibration for one monitor, a before-and-after report and measurement data for several picture modes. We agree suitable modes for your model and use beforehand.
ICC profiles, HDR calibration and special software or signal paths are agreed in the quotation after model review. Application checks on your computer may require separate work.

YOUR PATH TO A CALIBRATED MONITOR
Send it safely. Receive it calibrated.
Tell us your model and intended use; we confirm scope, total costs and appointment. Then send your monitor to the lab in suitable packaging. It comes back calibrated, with the report, measurement data and agreed settings. Delivery in person is also possible by arrangement.
Outward and return shipping cost extra. Final computer-profile assignment and application checks require your computer or a separately agreed procedure. If you want calibration at your workspace, we provide a separate quotation.

Florian Friedrich combines display measurement and HDR work at FF Pictures. Admesy Hera, PCM2X-271, Minolta CA-410, our own InnoPQ test software and Calman are available for the agreed work. The appropriate procedure depends on the exact model.

Questions about your monitor
When and how do I ship my monitor?
Please ship only after we confirm the arrangements. We agree scope, appointment, suitable packaging and outward/return shipping with you. Shipping costs are additional to calibration and appear in the total quotation.
Can you calibrate my EIZO, BenQ, Dell or Apple monitor?
Tell us the exact model, your computer and the connection. Available controls and manufacturer software differ. We confirm a suitable procedure and scope before commissioning; not every model supports hardware calibration or the same HDR adjustments.
Is an ICC profile included in the service from €150?
You receive a before-and-after report and measurement data for several picture modes. Profiling, installation or assignment on your computer and application checks are agreed in the quotation after reviewing the model and workflow.
Will my monitor and prints look identical afterwards?
An emissive display and a lit print have different characteristics. Room light, paper, printing process and profiles affect the comparison. Monitor calibration is one part of the process; a specific print or soft-proofing workflow is quoted by arrangement.
What happens after updates or changing computers?
Drivers, operating systems, settings and profile assignment may change. Keep the report and agreed settings. If your workflow changes, we discuss whether another check or measurement would be useful.
